Freedom In Worship

Greetings Worship Exposed!

First and foremost, we hope that America had an amazing 4th of July. President Ronald Reagan once said, “America was founded by people who believe that God was their rock of safety.” Every day, it seems as if America is falling a part from this belief. As a team, our prayer is that we start to put God first in this great nation again. May God bless this nation once again by opening our eyes.

Freedom in Worship

As we reflected on this great holiday, the WE team began thinking about what we should post about during the month of July. Naturally, FREEDOM came to mind. As Christians, there is freedom in worship! We have the “freedom to worship in spirit and truth, being genuine to our personality, mood or an encounter we might be having with God. That could mean any variety of worship styles, even all within the same service: sitting quietly, kneeling, journaling, dancing, clapping, jumping up and down, looking at visual reminders like icons, statues or paintings.”1

This Month

During the month of July we are going to be looking at four aspects of freedom within worship: the Freedom to Love, the Freedom to Dream, the Freedom to Serve, and the Freedom to Be. We will be discussing how God has blessed us in each of these categories and how the natural response is worship. Please, join us this month as we discuss the freedoms God has given us as His people.

Discussion Series begins July 8th, 2016.

God Bless,

The WE Team
